Near the valley, among the first heights that grow toward Tetica Mountain, a place that makes people want to explore, walking up the ravines, enjoying the countryside which converts itself into mountain slopes.  Bayarque offers us a lot of surprises, the division in two due to a rambla and some of the most singular buildings of the province.

Itself a pretty profile of a town that carries in its narrow and twisted streets the seal of the Arabian past.  In contrast to what happens in other places, the new imposed culture after the Reconquest and in which, likewise, left its mark was of the mining industry, as is notified in the big house of the main square.

Bayarque, with a significant mining past, is today an agricultural town that finds its main income, besides that of subsidised work, in the work that the marble offers to the region.  Its magnificent situation is of course, an indispensable base for the development of rural tourism.

The town is of considerable attraction, its situation is very good (at scarce kilometers of the main Almanzora road, but situated toward the mountain) and the landscape of its varied and beautiful municipalility, o­ne that attracts all those that like a tranquil walk by a mountain, but still dominable.  In it, is the basis of the future of Bayarque.

A fun filled town during its celebrations that seem to be constant throughout the year, which shows the union and happyness of the town.  The younger population are making their plans for the future in the town and growth is guaranteed.
