Four bedroom farmhouse (sleeps 8/9) and/or 1 room studio (sleeps 2/3).  Lovingly restored and provides very comfortable accommodation.  Large courtyard for dining and use of beautiful swimming pool.  Set in rural countryside.  10 minutes drive to the beach.  Both Desert Springs and Valle del Este golf clubs are 10 minutes drive.  10 minutes away from villages and towns - there is a little supermarket 5 minutes drive away.  

Cortijo del Sevillano is set in beautiful countryside yet is only 10 minutes drive to the nearest beach at Villaricos.  It sits between Antas and Cuevas del Almanzora and consists of 2 types of property - a very large restored farmhouse for parties up to 8/9 (based on two/three sharing) and/or a large studio next door, perfect for couples wishing for complete privacy or couples with a small child.  There are private courtyards for both properties with barbeque facilities.  There is a swimming pool for guests' use and is set in 10 acres of countryside.  Both properties are very comfortable - all linen is supplied, together with beach towels and bath robes.  There is Sky TV in the main house (in the Studio there are DVD facilities and we have a huge library of films for guests to borrow).  Both properties have well equipped kitchens, (the studio has a small kitchenette, with gas hob and sink, fridge and gas barbeque).  The kitchen in the main house is fully equipped with oven, hob, American fridge etc.  There is also a laundry room in the courtyard of the farmhouse .

The farmhouse makes perfect holiday accommodation for 1 large or 2 families of four.  It comprises of four bedrooms, three bathrooms (including one shower room/w.c. in central courtyard).

The downstairs layout gives huge living accommodation with family sized living room with Sky TV, one smaller living room with freeview TV, dining room seating 8/10 guests, huge fully equipped kitchen.  

There are two bedrooms on th is level - 1 double and 1 small twin perfect for a single person or two children.

Next door to the double bedroom is a large shower room/dressing room comprising huge tiled shower. his/hers wash basins and w.c.

Upstairs there is a large double bedroom with ensuite, comprising double bed, single sofa bed (perfect for a young child) bathroom with bath, shower attachment, double wash basins and w.c.

Next door is a twin room suitable for two children or 2 adults sharing (no ensuite)  There is a further sitting room outside the bedrooms with TV/DVD.

The large studio apartment set within the grounds of the rural farmhouse comprises of a huge studio room with sitting room, DVD facilities, double bed and single bed.  There is a very small kitchenette with gas hob and sink, small fridge (ther eis a gas barbeque in the private courtyard).  The studio has a large walk in wet room with rain bath shower and wash hand basin, and separate w.c.  All linen is provided including bath and beach towels and bathrobes.  This room is most suitable for couples or couples with a young child.  It is situated adjacent to the swimming pool which is available for guests' use.

Notes on accommodation:-  We have two travel cots, one infant cot, a highchair and a buggy all available free of charge.  

Outside:-  The farmhouse and studio are set in their own grounds within miles of rural countryside and yet 5-10 minutes drive away from the large towns of Cuevas del Almanzora and Vera, or 10 minutes to the pretty village of Antas.  There are many areas to sit and relax around the place - the main house has two huge terraces and a vast private courtyard with honesty bar - perfect for summer evening barbeques.  There is a dining table and chairs in this courtyard.  We have an 8 x 4metre swimming pool for guests of both properties to use anytime, with plenty of sunbeds and cushions.

Villaricos beach is the closest beach, being a 10/15 minute drive away, San Juan de los Terreros is 20 minutes drive away, Vera and Mojacar beaches are 15-20 minutes respectively all by car.  There are many more blue flag beaches within easy reach of the property.  Agua Amarga as among our favourites, the in the Cabo de Gata region, is under an hour away.  Some very beautiful and secluded beaches can be found here, even in August!

Both Desert Springs and Valle del Este Golf clubs are 10 minutes drive from the farmhouse.  

The closest airports are Almeria (50 minutes) drive, Murcia - San Javier (1 hour 30 minutes) drive, and Alicante (2 hours) drive.  Car hire is essential for this location.

Although set in rural countryside, we are 10 minutes away from villages and towns - there is a little supermarket 5 minutes drive away and main shopping areas of Cuevas del Almanzora, Antas, Vera and Mojacar are from 10 - 25 minutes away respectively.  There is a fantastic waterpark 15 minutes drive and the Western Theme park Oasys is an hours drive - a great place to go for the day especially if you have children!

1st April - 30th Sept 2011 - 1995 euros per week.

1st Oct  2011 - 30th March 2012 - from 750 euros  per week.

Studio apartment - sleeps 2/3 persons.

1st April - 30th Sept. 2011 - 375 euros per week.

1st Oct 2011 - 31st March 2012 - from 150 euros per week.      

Prices exclude half term holidays, Christmas and Easter which are charged at 1995 euros for the farmhouse and 375 euros for the Studio apartment.

Changeover days subject to availability but are flexible.
