Palomares is a traditional Spanish village and an ideal location from which to base a holiday. There are several bars in the village and a selection of shops, internet cafe, banks and small supermarkets. Palomares and this particular development is a great place to chill out and to enjoy the surrounding mountainous area.

Vera Playa and the pretty harbour town of Villaricos are a few minutes by car and Mojacar about a fifteen minute drive.

Many of the restaurants and bars in the Almeria region serve traditional Spanish tapas, either free with drinks, or for a small charge, and are well worth trying.

The large variety of activities is sure to keep even the most active of families happy here, why not try something new. There are plenty of opportunities for diving and snorkelling, cycling, deep sea fishing to name a few. For a more relaxing time why not try your hand at golf, there are a number of world class courses locally, and lessons are available as well. Be sure to enquire in advance to avoid disappointment. For example, why not visit Desert Springs which is just 5 mins away, and Valle Del Este, Cortijo Grande and Marina golf, and Mojacar all within a twenty minute drive.
