Details

El Marchal lies in the valley o­n the road between Bedar and Lubrin. A quaint little village with a small bar in the square and not a lot else other than houses perched o­n the side of the river bed.

The beauty of this town lies in its location. Tucked away as if hiding from the rest of the world but unable to avoid the daily transit that passes through it.

There are no shops or services in the town due to not really needing them. Vans with fresh bread, meats and fish and even cleaning products pass through the town beeping their horns, letting people know that they are coming through so that they may jump out of their houses, make their purchases and scutter back into their houses.

A great place to be away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but o­nly a 30 minute drive from Los Gallardos, allowing for easy communication from the outside world.

El Marchal holds some quaint but lively fiestas due to friends and families of the residents coming to join in and have fun family days.

All in all, this village is worth a stop o­n your way through to Lubrin or Bedar to enjoy the peace and quiet of its surroundings - until the delivery vans pass through!
