PLEASE NOTE:  HIRING A CAR IS ESSENTIAL HERE, THERE ARE NO REGULAR BUS SERVICES, TAXIS OR TRAINS, AND ONLY THE 1 BAR WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE, SO IF YOU WANT TO EXPLORE OR EAT OUT YOU NEED A CAR.

The house is situated in the beautiful Oro Verde area of Tabernas, and has outstanding 360 degree mountain views, and because it is south facing, has the benifit of all day sun, however, if it gets too hot (Almeria boasts the most daily hours of sunshine in Europe) we do have 2 large covered terraces at the sides of the house, and a large Pergola o­n the pool terrace, that will offer shade.

Whether you are here for a relaxing holiday, golfing, house hunting, hill walking, bird spotting, star gazing, visiting one of the Wild West parks,  or to make use of the Speed circuit, we are ideally situated to offer you the best possible location.

We have 2 Bedrooms, both ensuite, 1 with double bed, 1 with twin beds, both rooms have ceiling fans, the twin room has full air conditioning,  and the double a portable air conditioning unit, full central heating, double glazed windows and French doors (making the rooms not o­nly very light and airy but draught free too) that also have integrated fly screens and security shutters/blinds, and both sets of French doors open o­nto a covered side terrace.

Both rooms also have tea and coffee making facilities, (replenished daily) hairdryer, alarm clocks, shaving/make-up mirrors, tissues, torches, and we provide complimentary soap, shower gel, shampoo and a bottle of mineral water.

We also supply spare toothbrushes and toothpaste, just in case you forget yours!!

Bath sheets, hand towels, beach towels and face flannels are also provided in the rooms.

Continental breakfast :- choice of cereals, yoghurts, toast, jam (home made) marmalade, honey,  orange juice, tea or coffee and a fresh egg, (laid that morning by our own hens) cooked how you prefer, boiled, fried, poached or scrambled, is included in the price of your room.  We are also happy to provide cakes, cooked meats, cheese, and a selection of fresh fruit, if you wish, at no extra cost but due to wastage we no longer provide them as part of our standard breakfast.

However, if you would prefer a full cooked breakfast, we can provide that at cost of 3 euros per person, but please inform us by 6pm the evening before to enable us to buy in fresh bacon, mushrooms, sausages etc.

For your lunch/ evening meal there is a large hotel/bar within walking distance (approx. 1km along an unlit track, but we do have torches at your disposal) that has a large restaurant that Monday to Friday lunchtimes offer a "Menu Del Dia" and in the evenings a "Menu del Noche" (neither available weekends or bank holidays)  both of which at the moment cost 10.00euros per person for 3 courses plus a drink. Coffee 1.00euro extra.

They also have an A la Carte Menu available at all times, although some of the dishes are only available weekends and bank holidays.

There are other bars/restaurants in Tabernas and Sorbas, and if you would like to dine at one of those in the evenings but did not want to drive, then (if we are available) we would be happy to drive you there and pick you up for a nominal fee.

If you prefer not to go out to eat, we can provide lunch or an evening meal by prior arrangement, price on request.

Normal rate is 30 euros per night per room in summer (May-Sept) 35 euros per night per room in winter (Oct-April) as central heating here is dearer to run than air conditioning, however, for stays of 7 nights or more, the price will be 200 euros for the week in summer, and 230 euros in the winter, and we also invite you to join us for a complimentary home cooked mid stay meal with us.  A 5 euro reduction per night applies for single occupancy, but we charge an extra 5 euros a night for stays of only one night.

We also have secure (electric gates) off street parking and car ports which you are welcome to use. 

When checking for availability, please be aware that although we have 2 guest rooms, it is not possible to show o­n here whether o­ne or both are booked, so if the dates you are interested in seem to be unavailable, please still enquire as o­ne room may in fact be free. Thanks.

Please note, we are an animal friendly home, so if you do not like dogs, (3, live in the house) or goats, chickens, (live outside, in fenced in pens, but you are welcome to go and say hello to them through the fences if you like)  maybe we are not the ideal choice for your stay.

We are also a smoker friendly home, but although we do provide ashtrays in the rooms, we politely request that for the sake of other guests who may not smoke, that, weather permitting, you smoke outside (There are tables and chairs out side both the guest rooms on the terraces)
