Los Castaños is a small & pretty hamlet found o­n the road to Sorbas, 5mins drive to the Autovia for Almeria City and the Region of Murcia, with two nearby restaurants with more amenities found in Cariatriz (5mins in the direction of Sorbas) with Hostal, bar/restaurant, shop and café bar. There is a bus stop that takes you to Sorbas, for the schools, local pottery shops (for which the area is famous), or if you’re feeling adventurous you can go caving at the Cuevas de Sorbas.
