Macaenas looks very nice, apart from the unfinished hotel, but there isn't anything there. Afaik, the only beach bar is seasonal. There's a limited bus service to Mojacar and no shops.

The return flights and the one way flights are the same flights. There aren't seperate ones for people wanting a one way from Spain.

Fantastic new Chilean restaurant on the Playa - La Pika. Nice food, lovely owners and staff. Next to Occento (which is still the best pizzeria).

Is there anywhere other than Lopez (Playa and Antas) to buy a Fridge Freezer? Somewhere with a decent range and better prices? Seems odd that it is so hard to find a decent deal in a hot country!

That's normal - same with all flights. If there is too much cabin baggage, they take some for the hold. It still has to be the right size to be free but you have to wait for it at the other end.
