No, not everyone has packed up and left these sunny shores.
There are certainly less people about aren't there.

Nothing wrong with making chutney we make a lot for our own use.
As for Kilner jars ? Try the Chinese shops ! but as I don't know which forum you're referring to it'll just have to stay between the 3 of us.

You wouldn't like this particular chutney since they changed the recipe. It now has some unpleasant side effects, such as moderate paranoid schizophrenia coupled with severe bouts of aggressive behaviour,mood swings and irritability. In some ways you can understand why the Junta want to raze most of the place to the ground.

Probably safer to stay on here. Just don't post after 8 o'clock or you might turn into a pumpkin.

Chutneys still good, just had some on fresh bread with homemade pate .
