Can anyone tell me why it seems ok to rev up quad bikes every afternoon and disturb the siesta. This is something that has happened recently in this community and is a great shame as on the whole the people tend to be considerate who rent/live here.

I know we have to live together on these communities but these people need to be aware that if they want to race around then perhaps they would be better living on the campo and not on residential areas!!!!

I think Catty has a valid point - she has a perfect right to make her point and I don't think she is whinging..........why should she have to put up with it?

so what? ....does that mean they should create noise and detract from an individual's right to expect consideration for others?

Check the Community Statutes and if there is a "siesta" time for quiet, then complain to the President.

Anyone due to come over had better be prepared for a new tenant who is inconsiderate and abusive when asked to keep the noise down during the siesta i.e. motorbike revving, shouting. He has said that he has lots of money and doesn't care ( not quite as politely as that). Charming!!! Incidently this is a non English, non Spanish individual!!! Can't understand if he is so wealthy why he is staying in a small apartment and not a large villa.
