This forum has been taken over by the walking brain-dead. The vast majority of posts are bordering on ludicrous subjects. Even some are putting up their own questions and almost immediately answering them on the next post.

There are some good posters on here who supply good information for those looking in. But, before viewing something interesting one has to trawl through mountains of rubbish. The rubbish is almost unreadable.

There is only so much useless posts somebody can take; the limit has expired. The forum has outlived its usefulness. Once it was a good forum and those in charge meant well. It is a pity that Viva Almeria has descended to such rubbish inspired by useless gits.

absolutely agree, it like listening to parrots, ask a question and then seconds later they give themselfs the answer icon_exclaim.gif icon_rolleyes.gif and there is def lots of stupid banter..it puts you off posting ... if you were looking for some usefull info, the answers you get will desend into a couple of idiots taking over to have their own row.
why do you come on here then go for a walk or something and get a life...
Exactement Patrick, you can have the forum to yourself, I dont see many sharing with you. I'm sure the owners of the forum will be pleased with your racist and brain-dead comments.

I note many decent posters left this forum already. Some decent posters are left, but I think they have more respect for themselves and can post elsewhere.

Au Revoir, Adios, Slán, Goodbye or whatever you pea-brained idiots say.

Maybe one could argue that if you so obviously don't like it any more then nobody is forcing you to come on here. Some people still ask valid questions and sometimes get valid answers... why don't you and maybe other brain-dead posters go somewhere else and leave it to those that do still appreciate it?

One of the main reasons for lack of interest is poor admin. Too many abusive posts are allowed.

Absolutely agree 100% Snowbird.

It isn't rocket science moderating a forum with less than 10 posts a day.

I don't like forums that are heavily censored but some posts from one person in particular should just be deleted straight away. By keeping those brain dead and offensive posts up on the forum it just says to all readers "Who Cares". It also puts off genuine posters, who knows if some moderation was actually done then the forum may actually take off.

I don't think hartcjhart is exactly a "troll"... although I haven't always agreed with him, he has made some fine contibutions to the forums in the past...

There are quite a few trolls on here, though. The main problem with them is that other people respond, which merely encourages them. Sure, I could delete the abusive posts the minute they appear - maybe I should take the laptop to bed, when I go shopping, if I go out in the evening? or interrupt my 'day job' to handle them instantly?

Better still, Dear trolls, would you please make all your abusive posts between 8 and 9 each morning so I can delete them all in one foul swoop at 10 AM before anyone has had a chance to reply to them.

Cuckoo land? Seems like it!
Cheers

"In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion." Ref: Wikipedia

Hard to think of anyone here who would do such a thing?

In answer to the OP, forums tend to have a definitive life cycle and it may well be that this one is approaching its dying gasps. However, if you can't stand by and watch this happen, don't log-in.
