Hi Susiedodd, If you want to keep somewhat up to date, you can read the Sol Times newspaper (www.soltimes.com) online. It has a Roquetas/Almerimar edition and you'll generally read about new bar openings etc. There never seems to be much board activity about Roquetas these days! Regards, Saga

Hi just got back from Roquetas been there a month bit quiet but the resort is just gearing up for the summer mainly Brits and Spanish on the seafront at present not many Germans or Dutch the hotel Mediterranean has bought the land next door and has built a massive kids water park facing the beach also hotel Zoriada has a water park and the hotel was very busy but I think its all inclusive, new artisan bakers opened in Ave Mediterranean and the little Spanish Tapas bar next to cake shop is not little any more they have expanded and are as busy as golden prawn basically resort is same as usual
