British Airways fly Heathrow to Malaga
MALAGA airport will be regaining its direct connection with Heathrow starting next March. British Airways confirmed this information during a meeting with Andalusia´s tourism and commerce councilor Rafael Rodriguez. There will be only two weekly flights in the beginning, but the plan in to reach four during the summer season. Rodriguez sees this as clear evidence that airlines are betting on Andalucia as a main destination for British tourism.
“It´s a great satisfaction to have these flights available again, opening new expectations towards foreign markets with which the airlines have the best connections at Heathrow” he said. Euroweekly. _________________ http://www.beachcombermojacar.com

oh how lovely to have a decent airline flying from a good central hub to us. Roll on springtime when these flights are due to take off.... and the summer when they are to be increased to at least four. Well done B.A. - the best way to fly out of the UK. Don't suppose these limited flights will do much to affect Lyingair or Quesyjet though.
I love it when people get snobby about a 2 hour flight. Without the Budgets, BA would still be charging 500 plus to fly to Spain, so you might not be quite as happy for Spring to roll round at those prices.
Heathrow is a crappy airport and there is talk around that they might bulldoze it down and build an ultra modern super airport on the Thames ester y, the sooner the better, planes should take off and land over water, NOT OVER PROPERTY !

BA all the way doesn't matter how much it costs. Heathrow is a perfect airport and certainly in the correct part of the country ie not in Essex ha ha !!
I would have thought that the more airlines that fly from GB the better - it is only the competition that keeps the prices down. You pays your money and takes your pick basically. Now Easyjet allocate seats I don't think we will look elsewhere for a short haul flight. Oh, the main problem with Heathrow is the size of the place and the amount of time you have to allow to get on the plane in the first place. Freedom of choice is a great thing.
