Hi,can anyone tell me what the giant grubs are that I keep digging up in my boarders are? I thought they were the big centerpieds, but I could be wrong.

If they are giant centipedes be very careful. They are very fast and have a very nasty bite (the last person I knew who got bitten by one had a wound that took 6 months to heal!).

And giant centipedes like living in shoes , so always give them a good bang together to get them out , my friend put his shoe on with one inside very painful swelling for over a month, so beware

Can you describe them more, colour etc. We had some big creamy flour grubs in our strawberry pots last year, they were some sort of big beetle

yep, Beetle grub/lava.
Google beetle grub and look at images, you´ll find pix there
