We, bought one, it worked OK, but it had a short cycle so you had to remember to turn it on after it cut out.
It was easier than using the large oven for things like pies, etc.
It discoloured badly, and went from white to brownish rapidly, only used it for a year.
Also be careful where you place it, it can cause problems if it is too near things that can be heat damaged.
Have you thought about an haligon oven [11 litre version ] best thing around , cooks chicken perfect and gets rid of the crap inside [fat etc] roast patios are good also plus pittza's and pies, would not be without our one in Spain and UK , goes well with a microwave cooker
If you go the halogen way Aldi flog them for around £30 , amazon for a little extra , in Spain our one a few years ago was about £55, also get one with a skirt extension around the bowl as a large chicken can then be cooked , 20 mins turn chicken over another 20 mins then turn back for another 20 min's for a 1.5 kilo bird , the skin becomes like pork crackling with very little fat, my mouth is watering just typing this Ha/Ha , NOTE you will need at least 6 paper towels to wipe the crap out of the bottom, seeing this muck we NEVER eat chicken OUT, NEVER
