We need to get a new TV next visit - am I right in thinking for most choice / price it's probably that ferretia shop that begins with an "L" in Mojacar - or their much larger store at the end of the AP7?

Ferreteria Lopez Fernandes - My favourite shop in Spain. We bought a TV from there at a bargain price.Regular widescreen TVs used to be very expensive in Spain compared to the UK but are now quite reasonably priced. You'll be spoiled for choice here.Definitely go to to the big shop in Antas though, you'll love it.

I suggest you check out Redcoon - www.redcoon.es . Always seem to have good prices and delivery is very quick.

Try to get one that has lots of inputs like HDMI plus USB inputs just in case you want to show any old movies plus pictures via your computer or direct onto screen that you have taken many years ago of yourself/family

Redcoon.es are the same people as MediaMarkt (Saturn Media Group) with stores all over Spain (nearest ones are in Lorca or Murcia). However, the prices do vary between Redcoon.es, Mediamarkt.es and the MediaMarkt stores. Redcoon.es tend to the cheapest but if you have to send something back it can be a faf. With MediaMarkt.es you can buy online and collect in store. Also Mediamarkt do special online discounts on Tuesday nights.

I have found that local electrical shops can be just as cheap as the big stores. The trick is to decide what you want and then check out the prices. Although I pop in to Lopez from time to time they aren´t allways the cheapest and the staff can be pretty unhelpful.
