Yes the waterpark is open:

May-Jun 11-6pm

Jul-Aug 10:30 - 7:30pm

Sep 11-6pm

Be warned it's very expensive, and there are not that many rides, but the pools are great fun, with the largest one having a wave machine.

You can get discounted ticket if you go in after 4pm, which is ideal in Jul/Aug as it get's damn hot in there.

If you keep your eyes open, you can also pick up discount vouchers in places like Mojacar.

Have fun.

If you google vera aqua park and go on their web site you will be able to print off discount vouchers (I think theyre for a 10% discount). You will then abe able to take them over with you.

Enjoy yourselves.

The outdoor pool in Huercal-Overa is still there, I presume that should be open by Jun. No sign of when the new one will be finished as yet.

The new one in Puerto Lumbreras (indoor) is open all year round, its supposed to be very good.
