Buying Palm trees

Does anyone have any information on keeping palm trees we want to buy one but need to know how to look after them.

to know all the do's and don'ts and what kind of envioroment they like, we live off a rambler and get all the winds and rain you name it we get it.

guess no one knows!

We just water ours in the dry periods that's it for us and they seem to be growing.
