Following receipt of the agenda for the meeting, we appeared on the debtors list for aprox 67 Euros yet we pay by standing order. We have already paid our April payment and on the 1st of April our May payment goes out so effectively we are paying one month in advance yet appear on the debtors list because we are not paying 3 months in advance.
Can someone please clear up for us - was it agreed at the last meeting that CE would take 3 months in advance for anyone paying by DD in order to save costs on collecting money, also was this agreed for everyone in the community regardless of how they are paying.
If you pay by Standing Order there are no fees payable by the communty for collecting money.
Can someone please advise as I am sure that there are others in the same position as ourselves who thought they were up to date. I am just want to clear up the matter so we can arrange our payments correctly
Yes it was agreed at the last AGM that Community Charge would be charged quarterly in advance.
This was in the minutes of the meeting, and in a Presidents Update that I posted some time back.
Like yourselves we have yet to move our payment to quarterly so are also appearing on the debtors list. Your point about the Community not saving any money on bank charges is a very relevent one, and I will bring up under AOB at the Easter EGM.

I would just like to say that I support Tina 100%, she works very hard for the community and we should all appreciate all the unpaid time she puts in on our behalf.
She needs to look after our interests and ensure that the community gets the best value it can from whoever is paid, by some of us, sadly not all as there are many debtors, to maintain the standard we want.
Let us hope the meeting on Saturday is successful and some of the many issues raised here can be resolved to the benefit of us all.

Is it not strange that CE Consulting and Manuel disclose their hand after the AGM ? Or was this a very calculated ploy to oust Tina who knew what they were up to?
Where was the Vice President when Tina was working her butt off sourcing new administrators, gardeners and cleaners?
Why did he constantly undermine her ?
Where was the new President? What was he doing?
Do these people not realise that we are in one of the Biggest recessions ever. Wake up guys, any increase to Manuel or CE Consulting will start an avalanche of defaulters. They are trying to hold us to RANSOM, I will not be privy to this form of Blackmail.
As said in earlier posts, the gardening work load is reducing year on year, as more of us fellow owners have their front gardens and back gardens tiled over. The outdoor pool is in urgent need of having it's paving extended to incorporate the four showers and beyond.
Immediate benefits, cleaner pool, lower labour costs in mowing bills.
Tina already had a quote for this.
Some communities leave it to the owners to manage their own gardens,
leaving just the communal areas to be managed by the paid gardener.
We have wasted a complete year at Salinas.. many thanks to you Derek.
Why did CE Consulting increase the Community fees last year when we all explicitly voted NO ???
