Coming out to Mojacar in June with two families including 4 children three years to thirteen, and they want to go to Mini Hollywood .Is it worth going to see, how expensive is it and how do I get there.
I thought I saw in earlier message that there are two western parks in Almeria. Can anyone tell me if this is true and which is the best to visit
What other entertainment is available for children
Personally we like Minihollywood. It is a little expensive to get into - but it is a day out not just a couple of hours. It is probably on more expensive than going to a Theme Park in the UK though! They have a zoo there with the usual parrot shows and you have the gun fight show. There is also a swimming pool so take your swimming togs if you go! Plenty of places to eat. We take our grandson out with us who is now 10 years old and have had a day at Minihollywood with him on a few occassions and he loves it! Our experience there has always been good - but I know others will probably have very different views on the place!

"Oasys" is now the name for Mini Hollywood where there is a zoo and a pool. There is also Texas Hollywood which is the film set. There is a third "western" park but I don't know the name. All three a quite close to each other near Tabernas. Having been to both Oasys and Texas Hollywood I would say that there is a lot more for children in Oasys but Texas Hollywood is more like the western town from Hollywood films. Hope this helps.
The original park you remember is 'Oasys' now owned by the Playa Hotel Group. As has been said there is Texas Hollywood and I think the 3rd park is Sierra Leonne - which I believe is the Director Sergio Leonne's original Spaghetti Western film set.
