Hi all

The 'nice' inspector for the Junta has decreed that it is law that the 'coronation' around our pool is 1 metre in width (it is half a metre at the moment).

The coronation therefore needs widening to conform with this regulation.

We need competitive quotes from anyone who is able to do this work. The material is a special concrete, non-slip etc..

It is a very large Comunidad rectangular Pool.

If anyone is able to do this work and can come and give us a quote, please PM me to discuss.

Many thanks
Anita

The normas for comunidad pools is that there must be a non slip border of 1.20metrebut it does not say it has to be of that porous white cement. I have just built a communal pool and used the same tiles for the complete patio. The tiles around the pool edge are bull nosed - similar to those used on steps. They are certified by the manufacturer as being suitable for swimming pools. This might be a cheaper option than trying to widen the cement which after a time absorbs dirt, especially red rain.

thanks for the suggestion, but the comunidad wants it matched to the existing coronation as far as possible.
