Hi! I am due to come to Roquetas in May for the first of my twice-yearly visits. Has anyone got any news of what bars and restaurants have opened or closed since last October?

Also, is the resort any busier or quieter than normal?

We just came back last week. I don't think it is any quieter than it has been for the past few years. In fact Manhattan was much busier than Theos used to be.

One new bar is Estampa, run by Lily from the Boulevard. It is opposite the Playa Luna and the Tapas are lovely!

Panini have moved to where Gilberts used to be and they do amazing ribs on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

It always seems very slow on the Roquetas site. As if the place does not exist any more and is now a ghost town. Surely something is happening their. Please tell me.

Hi Creeper this is Susiedodd's husband and I would love to meet you and inform you of what a w....r you really are.

It seems to me all you like to do is criticize anybody who attempts to start a business out there. If your that unhappy about the place why don't you come back home to England, go back on the social, scrounge all the benefits you can and live in your very own council house, you miserable moron.

Bye the way I can spell that's more than you can you Dickhead.

Why complain about police presense?, in the UK putting more bobbies on the beat is a vote winner.

Agree with you about 'bobbies on the beat' in the UK - but try driving along Mojacar Playa and you will understand my (and Pottsy's) light hearted remarks about the GC

WE don#t have any police where we live in the UK , that is why 1 in 3 use their dammmmmm phone whilst driving, I'ff you fly out frome Southend airport KEEP to the speed limit and do not use your phone as police are everywhere and you will get nicked !
