Car Hire Murcia Airport

Can anyone recommend a really efficient cheap car hire company with a pick-up desk located with in the arrival hall of Murcia Airport. Last year we were so unlucky having landed from the UK we then stood in a queue at the car hire desk for 2 hours 10 mins (almost as long as our flight). The problem is we can't remember which company it was....it's possible it was Gold Car but not 100% sure and just really couldn't bear it to happen again.

You will find that if a car rental company is doing a special deal [cheap price] for a period and you book with it you normally get a long line awaiting when trying to pick up car/keys ,that is why I book through Avis never a wait at the spanish end

As we move into the busy season, cheap deals are not really available and long lines are inevitable.

It is what it is, price differences are often small and companies only offer deals whewn they are struggling.

Bite the bullet and deal with a reputable company.

As for brokers, Amigo Autos are as good as anyone.

One persons experience is not the same as others, timing on arriving is key and yopu have little control over that.. Other than one dashing off to join the line and the other collecting luggage.

Thanks for the help many companies are booked up or at least the class of car we need is booked up. Has any one heard of Advantage Car Hire they have a desk in the car park of Murcia Airport. The problem we have is making sure we don't make a booking with Goldcar as the last time we stood for over 2 hours in the queue - almost as long as the flight!

As Jimbob says Alandalus Car Hire are the only company to use, they are fab, wouldnt use anybody else. Try them you wont be disappointed.

Thanks for your help.....We tried them but they were booked up. I got sorted though! I've hired many many times from Murcia airport but just cannot bear the long long wait in the queue.
I'll remeber them for next time though
