Apparently, they're called 'topos musaraña' and they have just arrived in my garden. Lots of 'molehills' and they eat the roots of the smaller plants. Any household remedy out there? _________________ www.theentertaineronline.com
Lenox - apparently a few windmills (of the Margate/Blackpool type) spaced at intervals around the holes will help ..........when the plastic sails turn the vibrations go down the stick and into the ground --- Mr Mole doen't like good vibrations!! _________________ Low lie the fields of Athenry
I had a similar problem last year when something was eating my onions; they did it at night when there was little or no wind (except from the back end of the furry little bu**ers, after eating my onions).
Anyway, I pulled the remaining veg, ate them, and this year no problem, can’t explain why?
Well, I went to the Ramblizo in Antas to see what they had. Came away with a large box of rodent poison pellets. You break this blue slug into four and put a bit in the vole's tunnel. He eats in and 'Bingo'. We shall see. (I was only following orders) _________________ www.theentertaineronline.com
