road closure's

can anybody tell me if the roads to arboleas/bar international are open now. this is going from turre. as the road going to cucador was shut off completly shut off the other day.

Main road from Overa Hotel roundabout to La Alfoquia and autovia entry still closed due to collapse of bridge entry near Carasoles.
You would have to go Los Gallardos up to Huercal overa, then Taberno, through Albox and then to Arboleas. However, although the beginning of that route is OK, I cannot confirm that Albox to Arboleas is clear.
It's a long way round... I would imagine the markets held in the Bar Intl area on Saturday will be not very well attended this week.
Maybe someone else can give you more details or updates as things get repaired and more back to normal. They're working on it...

There are cars/vans now using the new diversion to an from the Autovia by-passing the Cucador/Carasoles bridge at New Horizon - whether this is 'officially' open I don't know but there are plenty using it - I can see directly from my House from across the Rambla.. plus the Zurgena Town Hall FB page says it's open...they've done a terrific job.
