seem to remember there are 2 exits off the AP7 for Aguilas, is it the 2nd exit (if you are travelling South from San Javier) that you take?

Cheers

Did the journey on the 7th from San Javier and back 17th.
Signs on Toll Road say Aguilas - Pulpi closed.
Came off at 1st exit for Aguilas. Not sure if there is another although the toll ticket does not show one.
However, there were no barriers to stop you going further !?!?.
We then followed signs for Vera / Almeria and went through San Juan and Villaricos. It was a lovely route, very scenic.
You can go through Cuevas.
It put about 15 minutes on the journey but saved 6 euros in toll fees !.
I think I will go that way in future even if the bridge is opened !.

Any update on the bridge repairs near Pulpi on the AP7? Has any work been carried out or do we still need to exit the AP7 at Aguilas and drive along the coast road to Vera Playa? Coming over at Christmas and would like an update if anyone knows.
Thanks

Murcia today news reported that the bridge has one carriageway completed and opened last Saturday 26 Jan with a contraflow system.
So all looks like good news the whole length of the AP7 is now open and running again.
Anyone actually driven along it yet??

The AP7, the toll motorway, is now open all the way. I drove down from Murcia last monday (28th). There is a very short contraflow using the north bound bridge that wasn't damaged and the damaged bridge is in the process of being repaired.

What is the best route to take in order to get on to the AP7, heading to San Javier airport .
We are coming from Mojacar.

We go up the coast road as far as Aguilas ,going to San Javier it doesn't take any longer than getting on at vera and its cheaper and the views are nicer .
