I wouldnt bother this year if I were you. There is loads of work going on there and loads of houses with the windows and doors open around there trying to dry out, the apartments on the opposite side of the road are still all wrecked so works could well be going on in the summer all around this area so noise and dust all around.
We would say that the Vera beach club complex itself is up and running. The gardens are getting back to how they were and the pools are working. We went to our apartment there in April and were suprised how well it was looking. There is some work on the downstairs apartments but we found little noise. The apartments opposite are being worked on but we did not find this affecting us at all. The beach is all ok again. The upstairs apartments at the Vera beach club were occupied when we were there. The area needs people to go and enjoy it. The owners of bars and restaurants have worked very hard to be up and running for the season. We will be back in August...no problem
