Wasps are back on our pool drinking the water. Last year we tried all the standard wasp traps and bait etc. - but they are only interested in the water in our pool. We also tried filling a large bucket with clean drinking water and placed it a few metres away - but no - they preferred pool water laced with chlorine! We cannot find a wasp nest nearby. Any ideas anyone?
You dig a big hole outside your house, you fill it with water and these innocent little creatures think, “wow, somebody’s providing us with all the water that we need....................................People are really wonderful aren’t they”.

Re your problem with small flying creatures, my husband and I saw this on holiday. If you hang up small canvas bags near to your swimming pool, the wasps will think that there is a nest close by and will leave the scene not to return, there had been a lot of wasps drinking water by the pool, but when this was tried they vanished despite the false nests flapping in the wind.
Hopefully this will help for not much expense
