Are you sure you were in a bar Ejay? I thought Arco Iris was where the Spanish looked after their old folks when they were too old for Tercera Edad, hence bingo would be popular.

Maybe the vino was a bit strong?

Each to their own, live and let live, eyes down, two fat ladies 88, legs 11, any way up 69. Can't remember any more but love the political incorrectness of the old bingo callers.

Bingo is great. And the best thing is, under Spanish law, if you feel that the numbers being called aren't random, you can ask the Spanish government pc connected to the local caller to confirm the randomness.

....What do you mean, your local bar isn't connected to the Spanish Bingo Network? icon_eek.gif

The Cave Bar is now Spanish owned (Or at least the lease or contract is) and appears to have Romanian staff who speak good English. Can't see them doing bingo anymore eh? You never know though.

John.

yes, you're right John, we popped in - it's all very basic, but was fine icon_biggrin.gif - early days yet, they hadn't got the draught lagers in, only bottles - waiting on deliveries, and the girl who served us said she was from Russia.

I hope they do well.
