Is now one big sand pit - it's been filled in.

As usual the politicians have got it right again - destroy the old pool before the new one is built - result no pool at all this year !!!!!!!

But this is all for the greater good of the town, there is another pool at the tennis club on the saliente road. Some people just can't see the wood for the trees etc. etc.

I'm sure this will be the politicians views anyway!

Was told today, that next to the football stadium, under construction at the moment, is 2 indoor swimming pools, don´t know why they need 2 indoor.

What are they doing in the rambla, its been wokred on for weeks now and the holes are getting bigger.
Anyone know what is being done there?

If you mean the Rambla in Albox then it's where they are building the new bridge.

Ok thanks, would have thought they would have built up not down, they are extremely large deep holes, I apreciate that they will have to the footings but you could fit 4 swimming pools in the hole that size. Also where will th road go at the end of the bridge, since it is scrub land on one side and a road on the other, any ideas?

Is there any update as to when the new bridge will be finished or is there any conclusive evidence of a public pool indoor or out??

Rumour has it that the ' Bridge to Nowhere ' could be like that for a while because they have still not purchased the land that leads onto it or the land where you come off it ????

As to the Pool due to reading the plans wrongly Albox's new swimming pool was built in Las Pocicas.
