The Moorish style old town of Mojacar, with its narrow streets and courtyards, is perched high on a hill where you can relax in a multitude of cafes and restaurants. Alternatively there are the charming ports of Garrucha and Villaricos nearby.

There are three superb, challenging golf courses within 10 km of the apartment, two of which are just 3 km away. These include the first desert course in Europe, Desert Springs, built to rival the now famous desert courses in Arizona and California.



For the less energetic there are miles of beautiful sandy beaches the nearest in front of the house.



Charming towns and villages in the vicinity, including the Moorish old town of Mojacar, the ports of Garrucha and Villaricos, or Sorbas, a stunning inland village of Moorish appearance, which is an important centre for traditional pottery. The nearby caves are still in their natural state, with no man-made corridors. Well worth a visit for the adventurous.



Situated in the Tabernas desert, Europe's only desert, the "mini-Hollywood" town is a replica of a wild-west town. At one time, it was actually used to shoot movies, notably Sergio Leone's "Dollars" trilogy. Now a dedicated theme-park, its great for the children ......and some adults!



And for those of you who love to play in water, the Aqua Park is Vera is not to be missed.
