When we come over to Roquetas for our annual holiday we always spend at least 2 or 3 days in Aguadulce, the beaches there are fantastic and due to a breaker off shore the waters very calm, crystal clear and shallow great for snorkling, the waters teeming with fish of all shapes and colours, I usually take in a piece of bread and scatter it, Im then surrounded by shoals of fish, the breaker acts like a mini reef and seems to attract the fish.
There are bars on the beach and you can eat and drink there or take it to your sun lounger, the marina is very pretty under the cliffs, with lots of bars and restaraunts and in the marina are shoals of mullet which follow you along quay if you feed them.
At night Aguadulce really comes to life with disco bars open till the early hours above the resaraunts at the marina, even on the roof there are bars and music, it was great fun.
If you''ve never been to Aguadulce give it a try, it only cost''s 1 euro on the local bus from Roquetas or 12 euro''s by taxi, we always go by bus, which we catch outside the Sabinal Hotel by the mini train.
