Played may 07. The couse was in excellent condition but not very interesting as it was very much an up and down affair.
Not to take anything away as the presentation was fastidious and was still a good challenge.
We walked rather than used buggies which is usually a holiday no no but as it was flat and the buggies had to stay on the paths it was probably the best plan.
The club house and sevice was excellent.
i would play again but still prefer Valle de este.

My husband and I played Desert Springs recently. We hired clubs (which were excellent) and when we set out even at the first hole it was obvious it was going to be slow. We only played 7 holes which took almost 3 hours! We are really looking forward to trying it again. It looks amazing and is groomed to perfection.

DON''T MISS THE FAIRWAY and you will be fine!!! "Beware of snakes and Scorpions" read one sign as I debated whether or not to go look for a wayward ball...Great place with an improving infrastructure. Course maturing well with lush fairways, olive trees, statues, lakes and many a rock feature...Compares well to US desert couses and a stiff seasonal wind can often make things even narrower. Usually has a drinks service going round which of course we all like ;o) Clubhouse is pricy but has an exclusive feel and great water features surrounding it coupled with a view to the 18th green. Pick a day with no wind and you will have a great time on a quality course. Good practice facilities and even a bag drop service all combine to make it well worth the few extra notes it may cost compared to many of the surrounding courses.
