As all my flights are to the S Wales area I now use Easyjet in preferance to flying into Cardiff.Up until now I have always flown from Alicanti.I have discovered that Easyjet now fly from Murcia to Bristol. This is well worth checking out if you need a flight to Bristol as it can work out a lot cheaper. To give an idea I am flying back to the UK for Christmas/New Year (2005/06)and by flying from Murcia I am saving almost 250.I find Easyjet a very good no frills airline and would recommend it.(On telly they only seem to show the ''cock ups'''')

I like the "No frills" approach and the de-mystifying of plane travel. I especially like the boarding arrangements and the seating policy of "Free Choice".

The first to check in gets a boarding card with the number "1" and so on. The plane is then boarded using these numbers, starting with 1-30, 31-60 and so on.

This system fails when you are called by number, but then herded out to a bus and taken to the aircraft. It can then revert to a mad scramble when the bus gets to the aeroplane. That is not the fault of Easyjet but more the Airport operator.

Seats are not bookable either in advance or at check-in, there is no facility to pay for extra leg room or a favourite position.

Once on board you sit where you wish, if the seat is vacant. It does away with all the searching for the right seat number and is generally faster. If you want a drink or snack they are on offer, but for short flights malutrition is hardly a problem.

If you book early and are flexible, EasyJet can represent tremendous value for money, however they are not always the cheapest and the departure times can be awkward, it is always worth looking at the major carriers and the charter options as well.

I have had problems with the baggage allowances. On the way out there has never been a problem, even when over by 5 kilos. However on a return from Malaga, a zealous check in operator insisted that I pay for my extra 5 kilos. It did seem petty, but what the heck the flight was cheap as chips and I have learned a lesson.

I have never had a problem with delays, but that is the luck of the draw. In total I have made over 70 flights with EasyJet and will continue as long as the prices stay low.

Also flying to Almeria airport (daily) from mid November 2004.

Generally a reasonable airline, punctuality (in our experience) pretty good (particularly early morning flights)

Not as ''jobsworth'' re overweight baggage / oversize hand baggae as a certain other ho frills airline flying from Stansted.
