Just been property hunting in La Allbox area (determined not to buy on this trip). On the 2nd day we were taken to La Alfoquia, fell in love with the place, the freindly people (Brits and Spanish). we bought a ''key ready'' house and can''t wait to move there in May. Looking to make friends and enjoy life like it should be. Hope to meet some of you there. Regards to all, Kev

Just purchased off plan, had a 12 point tick list which La Alfoquia hit every one. Very excited, to use as a training venue for 2 triathletes, can''t wait!!!!

Visited La Alfoquia in February 2005. We were that impressed with the area that we bought a villa "Off Plan". The Views are Stunning of the surrounding snow topped mountains, it''s so close to the sea & snow! it''s an unspoilt area which is typical Spanish. the building regulations in the area mean that developers can only build 20 dwellings per hectre, compared with 60 per hectre in the rest of Spain, so no overcrowding. Also, 25% of the land must be for recreational use, so loads of space!
Going back in sept for another look around and to do some exploring. We will keep you updated!
