We stayed in El Minerete in September 2003, the rooms were very nice, a large lounge diner, seperate fully fitted kitchen, a large bathroom and a large bedroom with balcony looking directly over the pool.
The roof area was great for sunbathing, there was also a washing machine up there.
Though the only fault we had with our appartment was that it didn''t have air conditioning or even a fan, so we rented one from a local store down the road.
The worst thing though was when we arrived the agent we booked the appartment from didn''t leave the keys at reception, we were lucky that we had friends along the road who put us up in their house for the night, or we would have been stranded, we went to the agent the next day and we were given 2 nights free, so we had some money back.
The Minerete''s though are very nice and the pool area is very relaxed and uncrowded and the appartments are only 10 minutes walk from the beach, with some shops and bars just down the road.
If your not keen on hotels try the El Mineretes the appartments are very nice and the grounds and the pool are beautifuly laid out.
