Mojacar Beach Apartments were clean and with all the self catering facilities you would expect in Spain. Staff were extremely helpful especially if you tried to speak a little of their language. Only downside was size of pool (although not too much of a problem as we are not pool people) and entertainment, which was non existent. First Choice Rep Sally excellent, it is the first time we have had a Rep on Site all the time. This was the only hotel that she looked after, which is a first for British Tour Operators. She gave us a lot of useful local information and always had a smile on her face. Mojacar Playa will in a couple of years become a British Costa although at the moment, although touristy is still nice. For good restaurants try Antonella''s, but book first. Also Algeria is good. But if you want to treat yourself book a table at the Sax on the Beach bar. Although small and quite expensive, the meal was amazing and the entertainment even better. The owner Ron was really happy and welcoming and tried to include our two young children. The jamming jazz session was great, never seen anything like it before.
All in all great holiday, make sure you hire a car and see the nearby sites like Carbonaros, very Spanish but great beach.
Also, it becomes very hot so be careful.

Our expectations after paying so little for our Holiday was you pay for what you get. How wrong we were, I was completely gobsmacked at how well organised and clean our accomadation was. The staff were fantastic. Faciltities excellent, and saftey for children second to none, this included a life guard around the pool area at all times while the pool is open.
Room facilites were excellent, air con, the kitchen had everything you would need for a self catering holiday, micowave, toaster, etc.
Our only complaint would be that the bar area is open until 3am, (which is great), but whilst the staff attempt to keep people inside the bar itself after midnight people still allow their kids to play outside making alot of noise.
Overall though a fantastic holiday and we intend to return. Highly recommended
