Turre is a lovely village at the foot of the Sierra Cabrera Mountains. In July we move to Cabrera to live and love the athmosphere of Turre. It would be the icing on the cake if the English (U.K) residents with shops/cafe there would make more of an effort to make their premises more Spanish. Would hate to see turre turn into an English village. Could the effort be made to put signs in Spanish/English and not ONLY ENGLISH.

Hoping the Spanish living in Turre can influence the English to accept that they
are in Spain and while the economy loves English people it would be lovely to see more English businesses with Spanish names.

Turre is not the most visually appealing place, yet hidden behind this is character. Turre has a great selection of restaurants, and is lovely for a quiet lunch, or peaceful night out.

Turre has typical spanish feel about it with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. It is a very fast developing small market Town with banks and traditional shops based around the main square. Its fiestas are not to be missed and go on well into the night, a good time is had by all who visit Turre. It is ideally based for golfers, walkers and bird watchers, based at the foot of the Sierra Cabrera Mountains there are plenty of spectacular views and excellent restaurants based in small hamlets tucked away in the moutains, accessed by car. Mojacar Playa is 6km by car and has miles of beaches, shops and bars. Turre makes a good base for a range of activities throughout the year.
